SUMMARY:Superyacht Investor London
DESCRIPTION:Just as turkeys are famously unlikely to vote for Christmas\, so the superyacht industry is unlikely to downplay its progress in sustainability. \nThe mood music is publicly positive but as the COP28 climate summit gets under way in Dubai this week\, it’s worth checking in again. Are yachting’s pronouncements on sustainability just for effect\, or does it realistically want to contribute to protecting the environment? \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\nThe final race of the 2023 Superyacht Challenge Antigua was held off the South Coast of Antigua on Sunday 12 March. The weather this year was more Mediterranean than Caribbean but the spirit of regatta was unchanged. Now in its 12th edition\, the Superyacht Challenge Antigua is an exciting\, friendly event\, designed to be solely for the pleasure of superyacht owners\, their guests and crew. \nOverall Race Results for the 2023 Superyacht Challenge Antigua\nA guest elevator serves lower to sun decks and both main and bridge decks are walkaround. The sun deck has a large glass-backed pool surrounded by sunpads forward. Aft is a chef station with BBQ and pizza oven\, sit-up bar\, open-air dining and a sun lounge\, with a dayhead inside. \n\nGloves are tested to EN 13594\, with Level 1 and Level 2. Level 2 is the highest performance level specified by the standard.\nBoots are tested to EN 13634\, with Level 1 and Level 2 for four categories: Boot height\, impact abrasion resistance\, impact cut resistance and transverse rigidity. Level 2 in each category is the highest.\n\nAction also scored well at the social evening winning the Best Team Caribbean wear on the Caribbean Night and Action’s Chef Caroline Jörgenson\, won best Caribbean Dish at the Famous Cook Off.
